Astrid is determined that all of ADCL’s work will be change for good.  We define “good” by aligning our work in support of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We focus on several SDGs (Numbers 7, 8, 11, 12 and 13) and we are all about Goal No. 17 – we love responsible leadership, working in partnerships to get things done – and done right!

ADCL is a proud signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant, offering initial free support to UK Service personnel past and present, plus their immediate family. So if this is you, and you could do with some support to move you on in your career, please use the form at the bottom of the page and we’ll be happy to discuss the ways we can help.

ADCL is also a proud signatory to the “Business without Blood Sports pledge”.  You can find us alongside many other ethically-conscious companies on the League Against Cruel Sports’ website

ABOUT ASTRID DAVIES

Astrid has led a wide range of different high-performing teams for 30 years.

A business information and Leadership specialist,  Astrid brings a wealth of broad-based commercial experience, practical common sense and boundless energy to everything she does.   For example, she brings agile competence, learned from retail management in London’s Oxford Street, knowledge management from her Masters, and sustainability support from her work as a Net-Zero consultant. Her varied CV means she is able to flex to help you solve your workplace problems fast.

Astrid has worked in private and public sector organisations through some of the worst recessions in living memory.  Throughout, she and her teams delivered quality outcomes for customers. She qualified as a Prince2® Practitioner and certified in Managing Successful Projects (MSP®), so your projects will be delivered properly, on time and budget every time. There’s certainly breadth of experience at your disposal.  In fact, this depth and breadth is why she has been made a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership  (FIoL).

Astrid is an experienced trainer, public speaker, conference MC and keynote.  She regularly facilitates public events, corporate team-building workshops and problem-solving “rumbles”.  This is ideal if you want a psychologically-safe space in which to discuss the things that really matter to your team and organisation.  It is also ideal for when you want to ensure your leadership development programme is focused on the things that really matter,  building towards a sustainable future.

As well as being an experienced and qualified coach, Astrid is an ANLP-qualified Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner.  She has helped individuals and teams achieve – even exceed – their goals, for decades. Astrid combines all of these skills in her unique OPTIMUM™ coaching framework.  And of course you can read her thoughts about leadership in the blogs on this site.

Astrid volunteers her skills as a mentor at University of Southampton as part of their business-readiness Careers offer. In addition, she is a Business Advisory Board member for Southampton’s Enactus chapter of budding social entrepreneurs. She also mentors at her alma mater, University of Birmingham.  She also has the privilege of being an Accredited Mentor for the Institute of Leadership.  Most recently, Astrid joined the UK delegations for the UN’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68 and CSW69).

Perhaps the most important bit you need to know about Astrid is that working with her is purposeful, high-energy and fun.  She brings her passion for our core values of integrity, equity and sustainability to every piece of work.
