This privacy policy explains how Astrid Davies Consulting Ltd (“ADCL” and also “the company”) will use any personal information it collects about you when you use this website. ADCL also has policies in place to protect your personal data which may be submitted in other ways (business cards, emails, paying for services etc).  Details of these can be obtained by emailing info@astriddaviesconsulting.com

What information does ADCL collect about you?

ADCL collects information about you when you register with the company either via pop-ups, or via the Get In Touch contact form.  The company also collects information when you choose to complete customer surveys, provide feedback and participate in competitions or offers.  Website usage information is collected using cookies (this is explained more below).

How will ADCL use the information about you?

ADCL collects information about you to process your queries.  If you agree, the company will also email you about other ADCL products and services which may be of interest to you.  The company may use your information collected from the website to personalise your repeat visits to the website.  If you agree, ADCL may pass on your personal information to our business associates.

These business associates may provide you with the products and services you have requested via ADCL.  ADCL will only share your information  with the associates listed on the website for marketing purposes if you have given your specific separate consent for that to happen. The company will keep any data about you safe.  ADCL will do this by:

  • storing in controlled access hard copy storage (for papers, forms and notes)
  • storing in encrypted storage
  • storing in a controlled access environment (for emails, downloaded electronic reports and electronic documents).

Marketing

ADCL would like to send you information about products and services which may be of interest to you.  Even if you explicitly consent to receive marketing, you are still able opt out at any time.  You have a right at any time to stop ADCL contacting you for marketing purposes.  You can also stop the company giving your information to the Associate firms listed on the ADCL website.  If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please either email info@astriddaviesconsulting.com, or use the “unsubscribe” function at the bottom of the next marketing email you receive.

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to request a copy of the information that ADCL holds about you.  If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email info@astriddaviesconsulting.com, marking your email “SAR”.  In the event that your request results in a large quantity of hard copies, ADCL will charge £10 for this service.  If your request results in excessive costs which could be adjudged as unreasonable, ADCL may decline to comply with your request in full.  However, you will always be informed and offered as much material as is reasonable.  The company wants to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask the company to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.  To do this, please email  info@astriddaviesconsulting.com

Cookies

Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information.  This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity.  For further information visit www.aboutcookies.org or www.allaboutcookies.org.  You can set your browser not to accept cookies and these two websites tell you how to remove cookies from your browser.  However some of our website features may not function as a result.  ADCL also uses Google Analytics to assess website usage, but all data used by Google Analytics is anonymised to protect your personal data.
